Christmas Party 2025: How We Closed the Year Together
The annual Touch4IT Christmas party is one of our favorite traditions. Why? It's time to close the year, holiday vibes are in the air, days of deserved rest ahead, and we are enjoying the last hours together to the max. This year, the party was truly special! Not only did we close another dynamic year together, but we also celebrated 10 years of Touch4IT. One decade of growth, learning, and building long-term partnerships definitely needs a proper celebration.
As always, the evening wasn't about formalities. It was about slowing down, reconnecting, laughing a lot, and simply enjoying being together in one place.
A Space Full of Familiar Faces
From the moment the team arrived, the venue filled up with relaxed conversations, smiles, and that unmistakable Touch4IT energy. No strict agenda, no pressure, just people who know each other well and enjoy spending time together.
Over winter drinks and festive food, team members caught up on stories from the year, shared inside jokes, and reconnected in person beyond Mattermost messages and Teams video calls. The atmosphere, with the Christmas tree, lights, and us, set the tone for a friendly evening built on good vibes and connection.

Looking Back at 10 Years of Touch4IT
The official part of the evening kicked off with a keynote from our CEO, Richard Roštecký, but don't expect a classic "numbers and charts" recap. Instead, he took us on a journey through the entire 10-year story of Touch4IT.
From a small founding team to an 80+ member company working across 24 countries, delivering complex digital solutions in Healthcare, Space, Aerospace, and the talk focused on milestones, lessons learned, and the realities of growing internationally. One message stood out clearly: Companies that last are built on a great team, trust, transparency, and long-term thinking.

Honest Conversations With Leaders
Next up was a panel discussion with members of our leadership: Richard Roštecký (CEO) and Michal Rusko (Chief Business Officer), senior Software Architects: Dávid Ondruš and Tibor Hanesz, and a very special guest, our Board Member, Dado Slezák. The conversation touched on leadership, AI, technology, current affairs, and where Touch4IT is heading next.
What made this part special was its honesty and authenticity. No polished statements, no buzzwords, just real experiences, thoughtful insights, and open reflections. Many colleagues later said this was one of the best moments of the evening.

A New Tradition: T4 MVP Awards
One of the biggest surprises of the night was the introduction of the T4 MVP (Most Valuable Player) Awards, a very new tradition at Touch4IT. These awards celebrate individuals who consistently make a difference, not just through performance, but through attitude, collaboration, and cultural impact. Hearing other colleagues publicly recognize each other’s efforts and cheering for them created a special moment of shared appreciation and reminded us of something important: effort is seen, and it matters.

Traditions We Wouldn’t Skip For the World
Of course, no Touch4IT Christmas party would be complete without its beloved traditions. Secret Santa, T4 gifts, Christmas sweaters, festive and delicious food, and plenty of laughter.
These moments may seem small, but they play a big role in shaping our culture. They create shared memories, strengthen bonds, help us get to know each other better, and remind us that strong teams are built not only through projects, but through experiences and shared moments.
Another brand new and unexpected part of the night, a stand-up performance, brought extra laughter and lightness into the evening.

Closing the year the best way possible
As the evening slowly came to an end, people were slowly leaving, wishing each other happy holidays, thanking each other for this year, and realizing that we will see each other in a few weeks. One feeling was shared across the room: this evening was about people and human connection. For many of us, it was a reminder that Touch4IT is more than a technology company; it is a community built on friendship, trust, collaboration, and a shared long-term vision. Closing the year together, as one team, is the most meaningful way for us.
