INTRODUCTION

Supporting Auto Repairs for Low-Income Families

The Low-Income Auto Repair Program (L.I.A.R.P.) is a U.S.-based initiative designed to help individuals and families with limited income access affordable vehicle repair services. By partnering with local repair shops, the program offers discounted services through a mobile app, based on the applicant’s income level.

CLIENT'S PROBLEM

Struggling with an Inefficient Development Process

The client approached us after 1.5 years of unsatisfactory collaboration with previous developers. The existing solution was built using questionable technologies and lacked functionality, prompting the client to request a full audit and ultimately seek a complete rebuild of the platform.

SOLUTION

Rebuilding a Scalable, Profit-Oriented App for Car Repair Services

After auditing the previous solution, we designed and built a brand-new mobile and web platform tailored to the client’s vision. The result is a reliable, easy-to-use app that helps low-income vehicle owners connect with service providers and access discounted repairs. For the client, the new solution opened the door to monetization through subscriptions and increased visibility for partner repair shops. With clear workflows, better user experience, and ongoing support, the client now has a scalable foundation for future growth and expansion.

PROCESS

Turning a Rescue Project into a Reliable Product

We began by auditing the previous solution, identifying significant gaps and missing features. Based on this, we redesigned the core functionality and rebuilt the platform from scratch, including mobile apps for iOS and Android, and a web-based admin dashboard. Throughout the process, we kept close communication with the client, clarified requirements, integrated third-party services, and ensured a smooth handover with clear technical guidance. The client is currently planning a complete UX/UI redesign with a focus on usability and clean workflows.

OUTCOME

New Mobility Platform Launched and Monetization-Ready

The result is a fully functioning platform that finally delivers on the client’s original vision. With a smooth user experience, working integrations, and a scalable foundation, the app is now ready to support real users and generate revenue. The client is satisfied with both the process and outcome, and plans to continue developing new features with our team as the business grows.
